What are Restylane Skinboosters™?

Designed with patented NASHA™ technology, Restylane Skinboosters is a dermal filler that uses a unique form of hyaluronic acid. It naturally integrates into the skin to noticeably improve skin smoothness, elasticity and appearance in the face (lower cheek/jawline), upper neck and back of the hands. Unlike corrections brought by fillers, skin boosters are used to enhance the skin from within. Skinboosters improve the skin’s quality by rebalancing moisture levels in the skin and improving its elasticity.

Restylane Skinboosters™ is administered in the form of hydrating microinjections with hyaluronic acid, thereby replenishing natural hyaluronic acid-reserves and improving the skin from within for the long term. Restylane Skinboosters moisturize from within, stimulate collagen growth and provide long-lasting hydration to the areas treated. Similar to mesotherapy the product is injected deep into the skin with a small needle, covering the area in about 20 minutes. Restylane Skinboosters can help refresh the skin in the neck, face, lips, decolletage, back of the hands, knees and elbows.

What sort of results can I expect?

Generally, results are noticeable immediately. How many treatments will I need?

For optimal results, an initial course of 3 treatments at 2-4-week intervals is recommended. Then, a 6 monthly maintenance treatment may be required, although in time these maintenance treatments become more and more infrequent. Clinical studies show that results may last up to 6 months.

Do dermal fillers hurt?

Generally patients tolerate the procedure quite well. Some minor redness, tenderness, swelling or bruising may occur but will not last long. Using numbing cream ahead of time can offer a very comfortable treatment.
