Effective hair treatment for Male and Female Pattern Baldness

Testimonials

#1 Non-invasive Procedure for Male & Female Pattern Hair Loss

PRP Hair treatment uses a special component from your blood, which is full of growth factors. These factors can make your hair thicker, healthier, and fuller, and you don’t need surgery or recovery time. The treatment involves injecting a highly concentrated version of this component directly into the scalp, which speeds up healing and encourages hair growth.

The reason some other PRP treatments don’t work as well is that they don’t use a strong enough concentration of these growth factors and platelets. Without enough of these, the treatment isn’t as effective in stimulating hair growth.

Our highly concentrated GFC / PRP Hair Treatment can:

  • Increase blood supply to the hair to create a healthy environment for hair growth.
  • Increase hair density and fullness.
  • Provide powerful results for both male pattern baldness and female pattern baldness.
  • Enhance and lengthen the hair growth cycle.
  • Stop further hair loss by activating the underlying tissue to speed up tissue and collagen production

Putting an end to your hair loss and restoring your hair will be easier when we treat it sooner rather than later.

We offer versatile options for both men and women seeking hair restoration.

PRP is a popular choice for those looking to boost hair growth or those who are experiencing hair thinning. This treatment works by stimulating the hair follicles, creating a healthier environment that helps strengthen and thicken existing hair.

It’s also beneficial for people who have had hair transplant surgery, as it can speed up the growth of the transplanted hair.

After the treatment, you can go back to your normal activities right away, but it’s important to protect your scalp from too much sun and irritation.

It’s important to know that while many people have great results with PRP hair treatment, it doesn’t work for everyone.

If you’ve completely lost your hair follicles, this treatment might not be very effective.

Cervos Key PRP / GFC

LMC is thrilled to be the first clinic in Canada to introduce a new PRP technology, which has just been approved by Health Canada. This cutting-edge method is known as Cervos Key PRP. It’s special because of how it collects platelets:
  • It uses a smaller sample of blood but still gets a high number of platelets.
  • This method results in the least amount of red blood cells mixed in.
  • It captures more platelets than other methods, increasing their number significantly.

What makes Cervos Key PRP stand out is its effectiveness compared to other PRP technologies like Arthrex Angel, Harvest PRP, and Eclipse PRP. It can collect up to 20 times more platelets than these other methods.

Cervos Key PRP can extract up to 20 times more platelets compared to other PRP technologies on the market.

 The unique process used in Cervos Key PRP, called the double spin technique, results in a greater quantity of platelets that are rich in growth nutrients. This technology is developed by the Cervos Key Processing System, leading to a higher amount and concentration of platelets, which is essential for effective PRP hair treatment (Disclaimer: This information is provided by MDBiologix).

In summary, Cervos is considered a growth factor concentrate (GFC) because it efficiently concentrates these growth-inducing nutrients, making it a potentially more powerful option for PRP hair treatment.

What is the difference between Cervos Key PRP and other PRP technologies?

Cervos PRP outperforms other PRP technologies on the market including Harvest PRP, Arthrex Angel PRP and Eclipse PRP.

PRP Hair Therapy F.A.Q

How Do PRP Hair Treatments Work?

PRP treatment for hair loss is a method where a person’s own blood is used to help regrow hair. In this treatment, a part of the blood that is rich in special cells called platelets is taken and injected into areas of the scalp where the hair is starting to thin. These platelets have important proteins that help in healing and growing new cells. This can help in improving hair growth.

What is the difference between Cervos Key PRP and other PRP technologies?

Cervos Key PRP typically can extract more platelets compared to the other PRP technologies on the market.

What sets Cervos Key PRP apart from other PRP methods is that it’s like a supercharged version of the usual PRP treatments. Imagine PRP as a special juice that helps hair grow. Regular PRP is made from your own blood and has good stuff in it to help with hair growth. Now, Cervos Key PRP is like taking that juice and making it even more powerful by adding extra nutrients. It’s packed with even more of the helpful ingredients, specifically growth factors, which are like magic helpers for hair growth. This means that Cervos Key PRP could potentially do a better job at waking up hair follicles and getting them to grow hair again compared to standard PRP treatments.

Is PRP covered by OHIP?

PRP is not covered by OHIP. One session of regular PRP costs $400, while advanced PRP/GFC sessions range from $800 to $1200. Each PRP session includes an advanced HairMetrix analysis report to track your progress impartially. We offer both in-office financing options and partner with PayBright by Affirm for flexible financing solutions.

What are the possible side effects of PRP Therapy?

The most common side effects of the treatment are swelling and redness, which usually happen right after the procedure and go away within four to six days. Because the treatment uses your own blood, there’s a very low risk of getting an infection from someone else’s blood. However, although it’s rare, there’s still a small chance of serious problems like infection or scarring.

What are the two phases of PRP Hair Restoration Therapy?

Phase I: Phase I involves blood extraction from the patient; this blood is spun in a centrifuge to separate the blood’s components. Platelets are obtained and may multiply; this multiplication process generates growth factors, which may ultimately be served as stimuli for the scalp’s cells.

Phase 2: Phase 2 involves platelet/growth factors provided to the scalp. This process promotes the healing of punctures as well as hair growth. Different vitamins, minerals, and hyaluronic acid may be provided after PRP treatment.

Who isn’t an ideal candidate for PRP treatment?

As the patient’s own blood is used to prepare PRP, the risk of disease transmissions, allergic reactions, toxicity or rejection is avoided. Other contraindications include patients:

  • Who have hematological disorders or concurrent infections;
  • Who have immunosuppression;
  • Undergoing chemotherapy;
  • Suffer from poorly controlled chronic medical conditions;
  • Are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Is PRP alone sufficient to grow hair?

When done correctly, most cases of PRP have resulted in some level of improvement following treatment, sometimes with noticeable thicker, healthier-looking hair. It is critical to understand that PRP is not a miracle treatment. The most effective results are often achieved in conjunction with other medical treatments and lifestyle modifications.

Is PRP a cure for male and female pattern baldness?

In general, PRP does not cure baldness (Androgenic Alopecia). A genetic medical problem always persists. However, regular treatment can significantly slow down the effects of Androgenic Alopecia and significantly increase overall hair density. Maintenance treatments will likely be required in order to maintain the results. However, maintenance treatment frequency varies on individual factor and the type of PRP used.

What not to do before my PRP hair treatments?

Generally, we recommend that you follow our PRP hair restoration pre & post-care guide in order to reap the best results from our PRP hair restoration treatments.

How effective are PRP treatments for hair growth?

Since Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy may not be effective for everyone, it’s crucial to employ an impartial method for tracking results as objectively as possible. At LMC – Laser Medical Clinic, we utilize the Hair Metrix Camera analysis system developed by Canfield Scientific. This system includes a specialized camera for hair analysis and software that uses high magnification to count and measure hair, providing a detailed report on hair density, thickness, and overall health. Conducting a Hair Metrix analysis is highly beneficial both before beginning treatment.

What are the Key Functions of Growth Factors in PRP hair restoration?
  • Improved Circulation: They enhance blood flow in the treated area, aiding in thickening the hair follicles.
  • Hair Follicle Revitalization: Growth factors contribute to the healing and reactivation of dormant hair follicles, leading to an increase in hair count.
  • Stimulation of Hair Growth: They activate the papilla cells, essential for new hair growth.
How is the PRP injected?

LMC – Laser Medical Clinic utilizes the U225 injection gun to ensure uniform and precise needle depth, along with consistent delivery of plasma. The use of the U225 mesogun for PRP administration also enables us to avoid numbing cream, which can hinder scalp blood circulation.

How can I enhance the effectiveness of my PRP treatments?

To get the most out of PRP hair treatment, it can be combined with other proven hair loss treatments. For example, research suggests that using PRP alongside minoxidil, a well-known hair growth stimulant, yields better results than using either treatment alone. Minoxidil works to stimulate hair growth and slow down balding, making it a powerful complement to PRP.

PRP also boosts the benefits of hair transplants, particularly those using Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) techniques. When combined with a hair transplant, PRP accelerates recovery, promotes faster hair density, helps skin heal quicker, and can even activate dormant hair follicles. This makes the overall process more efficient and can improve long-term results.

PRP & LED Therapy

LED LIGHT THERAPY is especially effective at treating hair loss, it works by increasing blood flow in the scalp and stimulates the metabolism in hair follicles, resulting in more hair production. When PRP and LED LIGHT THERAPY are performed together, the results are even more impressive!

NEW! Benev & ASCE+ HRLV Exosomes

BENEV Exosome Treatments

The Benev exosome product line delivers billions of stem cell-derived exosomes to naturally stimulate hair regeneration. By adding these potent growth factors to the scalp alongside PRP or Mesotherapy hair restoration, you can significantly enhance your hair restoration results.

How Do BENEV Exosome Treatments Work?

A step beyond stem cell therapies, exosomes are the building blocks of stem cells. These exosomes contain mRNA, which is responsible for the manufacturing of proteins in the body. Exosomes act as messengers to deliver mRNA, growth factors, peptides, amino acids, coenzymes, vitamins, and minerals, encouraging healthy hair regrowth.

Healthy Hair with BENEV

Exosomes can prolong the hair growth cycle, helping to build thicker, stronger, healthier hair. These tiny but powerful cellular components, released from stem cells, regulate many body functions, making them essential for optimal hair health.

Introducing ASCE+ HRLV Exosomes

ASCE+ HRLV exosomes are designed to provide an ultra-concentrated boost to cellular regeneration and communication. Tailored for advanced hair restoration, these exosomes deliver a higher concentration of specific growth factors and signaling molecules, making them an ideal choice for those seeking the most aggressive approach to hair loss prevention and treatment.

Enhanced Regrowth with ASCE+ HRLV Exosomes

By targeting critical pathways in the hair cycle, ASCE+ HRLV exosomes optimize the growth phase, enhancing the density and strength of newly growing hair. This advanced formulation is designed to work synergistically with other hair restoration treatments, providing a robust foundation for hair health and recovery.

Note for Images above: “Healthy hair” inferred from the “Terminal:Vellus Ratio,” indicating proportion of fully developed (terminal) hairs to finer, shorter (vellus) hairs. An increase in this ratio could be an increase in healthy hair. “Hair density” can be directly related to “Follicular units per cm²,” which shows how many hair follicles are packed into a square centimeter of scalp.
