Meta Cell Technology is a medical system that uses controlled light and temperature to condition an autologous product such as PRP before treatment. This process is called photothermal biomodulation. Standard PRP treatment involves preparing platelet-rich plasma and delivering it to the target area. MCT adds a controlled photothermal-conditioning step after preparation and before delivery. Because MCT conditions the patient’s own prepared plasma rather than applying light energy directly to the skin, it may be considered across a range of skin tones and hair types.
